Glacier Helicopters has remained open for essential flights during the Covid-19 pandemic and has been undertaking best practices with regards to aircraft sanitation and PPE while ensuring that all passengers and staff are asymptomatic.

We are following the advice from multiple agencies including Transport Canada, WorkSafeBC and the Wildfire Services of BC and Alberta.  Our protocols and procedures are designed to ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the wider community.

B.C. has now entered ‘Phase 3’ and in keeping with Government advice, by utilizing additional precautions and measures we are now in a position to offer a broader range of services including sightseeing flights and heli-adventures.

PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT GLACIER HELICOPTERS:

  • All flights must be pre-booked by telephone or e-mail
  • Only members of the same household or ‘bubble’ can fly together
  • Passengers will be asked about their travel history and current health status
  • Only one group of customers will be at our Hangar at any given time

ON ARRIVAL AT GLACIER HELICOPTERS:

  • We ask that physical distancing be observed during the check-in process
  • Each passenger must complete a waiver confirming their recent travel history and health status
  • Passengers will be asked to wash their hands or apply sanitizing gel prior to boarding the helicopter
  • Passengers will be asked to wear a non-medical mask or face covering during the helicopter flight
